Maya Le Tissier signs contract extension

The England international joined United in summer 2022, scoring two goals on her debut against Reading at Leigh Sports Village.

Maya has gone on to make 59 appearances for us, scoring three goals to date, and was a key part of the team’s record-breaking 2022/23 season: finishing second in the WSL, securing Champions League qualification for the first time, and reaching a maiden FA Cup final.

Last Sunday, Maya’s notable performance in our FA Cup semi-final helped create history for the team with victory over Chelsea, securing a second consecutive FA Cup final.

Maya Le Tissier said: “I’m really happy to sign a contract extension with this great club and look forward to ending the season strong, while continuing to build for the future.
